Givenchy Couture Fall 2008

Riccardo Tisci has done for Givenchy what Nicolas Ghesquière achieved at Balenciaga: making the brand his own, giving it a young, modern, urban edge. Of course the classic Givenchy spirit remains intact through sharp tailoring and attention to detail. But the gothic-glamour style, biker jackets and head-to-toe one-color outfits are Tisci's signature.

His Haute Couture collection for fall 2008 season had a subtle Peruvian vibe visible through the color scheme used: gaucho browns, dark kakis, bold pinks and folkloric patterns on knits. Daywear included tailored ensembles: wide-leg trousers worn with leather jackets, three-piece suits (slim long blazers, fitted vests and skinny pants) as well as luxe bomber jackets teamed with asymmetric jersey dresses.

Eveningwear came in form of all-over fringed dresses in blush & fuchsia, a wonderful one-shoulder, purple silk mini dress and long, black lace gowns looking tough and confident under biker jackets and wool capes.

2. I think what you published

I think what you published made a lot of sense. However, think
on this, what if you composed a catchier title? I mean, I don't
want to tell you how to run your blog, but suppose you added a headline to possibly get folk's attention? I mean Reply
to comment | Haut Fashion is kinda boring. You should peek at Yahoo's front page and note how they write news headlines to grab viewers interested.
You might add a video or a picture or two to grab readers
interested about everything've got to say. In my opinion, it might bring
your posts a little livelier.
