What says more avant-garde than the bi-annual cultural journal AnOther Magazine with fashion-forward Tilda Swinton on the cover? Wait, there's more; this spring/summer 2009 issue celebrates London Fashion Week and features the British actress wearing edgy, high-fashion clothes from some of the most inventive young designers of UK: Sandra Backlund, Mark Fast (on the cover), Louise Goldin, Mary Katrantzou, Craig Lawrence and Peter Pilotto.
The stunning Future Fashion pictorial carried out by photographer Craig McDean is a set of fierce, otherworldly looks, Tilda's statuesque figure and strange, androgynous beauty is highlighted as never before. My favorite pic is the one where she wears the crocheted dress from Sandra Backlund; she looks like a sea queen or something. :)

These images are exquisitely beautiful. Craig and Tilda have both outdone themselves with these photos. From the Spring/Summer floral escapades of italicized, fresh variance to the obvious Fall/Winter suggestivity here of introvertedness and woven magic, these images absolutely invite the notion of the forthcoming cold's shimmering gala.
