The tonic Missoni ad campaign for spring/summer 2011 season has the most cheerful cast I've seen in a while in fashion advertising: the Missoni family and friends all smiles, all dressed up, twirling around in vibrant printed clothes. If the ads mean to prove that bright geometric/tribal patterns, spangled with dazzling sequins and fringes look great on everybody, girls and boys, babies to seniors, they sure make a point.
Styled by Vanessa Reid, the printed ads were shot by fashion photographer Juergen Teller at the Museum of Everything in London, exhibition created by James Brett and Sir Peter Blake, while the video ad is directed by Mel Bles. The cast includes friends, fans and devotees of Missoni house including lovely actress Leighton Meester, socialites Tatiana Santo Domingo, Charlotte Dellal, daughter of 80's s Brazilian supermodel Andrea Dellal, heiress Camilla Al Fayed, Jasmine Guinness, Princess Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis and I let you descover the rest of them.
