The first images from Prada Donna fall-winter 2013 advertising campaign have arrived. As in previous season the campaign was shot by photographer Steven Meisel in a studio-portrait style with a tone of grit and raw sensuality added to match the runaway show's atmosphere. The setting is bare, severe with only vintage industrial chairs for the seductive protagonists to rest on. The autumnal dark shades of clothes and setting make a striking contrast with the harsh light, like a cold-season morning light.
In the same manner, the elegant Prada ensembles that include luxury clothes, handbags and shoes are in contrast with models' nonchalant pose and uncoiffed hair that looks like caught in the rain. The various cast shows the universal appeal of Prada’s designs and gathers established names such as supermodel Christy Turlington that made quite a comeback to fashion modeling this season, topmodels Freja Beha Erichsen, Catherine McNeil, Fei Fei Sun and also fresh faces like new comers Malaika Firth, Amanda Murphy and socialite/ music producer Caroline de Maigret.
The styling team of Prada fall/winter 2013 advertising campaign includes top professionals Olivier Rizzo (fashion styling), Guido Palau (hair) and Pat McGrath (makeup).
