Laura Laine's vision of fashion

Laura Laine is a young Finnish fashion illustrator who enlisted in her work resume titles like New York Times, Elle Girl, Páp Magazine, Fashion Forecast and Trendi. She also did sketches for international labels such as Escada and Zara and also for more personal projects: such as a poster for Finnish designer Daniel Palillo, a logo for Wunder Fashion Store in Helsinki or a desktop wallpaper for art&design blog Kitsune Noir .

Laura Laine trendi magazine

Her sketches showing characters with flowing long hair and filiform silhouettes might look girlish drawings but the caricature quality and exceptional technique save them from the "pretty" labeling. As for the materials used I can only guess Laura is using plain old crayon or ink on paper.
