If you're wondering what is Miso's art all about, I will tell you that her imagination is fascinated and stirred by ecocatastrophe, biology and evolution. Her strange creatures, subjects of her paintings, graphite artworks, ink drawings and sculptures, may be considered part of a new species, living here on Earth after an imminent catastrophe.
Miso, Teardrop 2
Every ending, though, has a positive meaning and Miso's characters are equivalent with evolution, purification, innocence and goodness. Perhaps that is the reason why this talented artist sees these fantastic creatures similar to rabbits, lambs and other peaceful animals. Sheepies and misos, as they are named, are part of a magical experience beginning in the cold tundra and fjords of a visionary mind.
