Hi folks! It's good to be back. I hope you had a happy holiday. I spent mine abroad and wandered a couple of days around Vienna. It is such a wonderful city with a lot of places worth visiting. I only wish I had more time to spend there.
On Christmas Eve there was a lot of to-and-fro on Mariahilfer Strasse, the city's longest and most lively shopping street. Everyone was there, allegorically speaking. I heard as many languages while visiting the Schönbrunn castle or the St Stephan's Platz. This was great, in a Babylonian way.
While in Vienna I thought I should make use of my fashion sense and bring to you a street-style report. The pictures are not great, but since they are my first fashion snapshots I hope you all agree they're, well...acceptable. My favorite is the one with the young couple waiting for a bus near the MuseumsQuartier Vienna.
You could rapidly tell apart the local girls from the tourists. They were confident, walked fast without even taking a peak at the stores' windows along Mariahilfer Strasse. What can I say about street fashion in Vienna? It's all about elegant black winter coats or sporty parkas, flat boots in suede leather, layers and cozy knitted caps.
