Who Is The Lexash?
Alexander Chidiebere Ashimole, also known as Lex Ash, works in Lagos as a Nigerian fashion photographer and creative director. He taught himself photography while studying estate management at Covenant University, borrowing a friend's camera to practice.
He wanted to increase the number of photographs of Black people, including Nigerians, online. His professional background also includes corporate communications at Unilever Nigeria and brand and design work at Andela.
