Designers took an inspiration from the early 90s and brought back the grunge fashion.
I love fashion accessories but I don’t know what to think about belts. I’m rather small and a large belt like those seen on the runways would just make me look shorter.
With all that’s going on in the world the military trend couldn’t be more present-day and that’s why this look refuses to submit as it keeps evolving into new variations.
This winter season the parkas are more “posh” than ever. It’s sort of the usual urban warrior styling of hooded jackets but now they are often fur trimmed.
From the runway to the high street and department stores it’s all about luxury quilted parkas and feather weight down jackets.
Definitely the star of the runways this season, you can find at least one in every store around: satin, metallic sequins, silk jersey or the sparkling opulent brocade are the main used fabrics and achieve the evening glamour effect.
A gold mini dress can be easily worn to a more casual party if layered over dark tights- it is a fresh new look reminding of Andy Warhol’s diva: 60s mod icon Edie Sedgwick.
This is definitely my all time favorite type of small handbag. What is so great about it is that it gives a retro-chic look to the whole outfit, especially this intricate golden clutch from Dorothy Perkins. I personally favor the wrist purse which is more practical, like those in silver, fuchsia and electric blue, also from D.P.
Although the chilly weather makes you dress 3 or 4 layers and that’s fine if you are a layers trend’s fan that doesn’t mean you can not wear jewelry.
This trend started just a few seasons ago- the ladies hat, once an essential accessory for an elegant outfit, is yet again a fashion statement. They’re not only chic but very practical too. This season, women's fashion hats range from beanies, rib knit hats, simple berets to cloche hats, felted hats, schoolboy caps and Dr. Zhivago fur hats styles. I’m showing here three of the trendsetting styles this winter: the cloche, the fur hat and the newsboy cap.
From the “Christmas gifts” series these findings are my favourites. Gosh, I’d love to find them under my Christmas tree?
Anyway I think you all agree with me that these make for great gifts. The Roxy “Lap Dog” laptop case from Nordstrom is a cute and chic case made from patterned fabric, with top-zip closure and a padded interior.
It comes in other colours too, but I found this one prettier. I think it costs 20 dollars or so.
