Eighties style shoes

One of my hobbies these days is to “monitor” eBay for interesting looking shoes. One of these days I might buy some. But, till then, I wanted to share with you this week’s eBay offer- some fantastic eighties style shoes (or so they seem to me) that I came across. I love the idea of bow detailing- I saw bows on accessories at many of this fall’s collections.

Eighties style shoesEighties style shoes Golden multi strap peep toes, location US, bidding started at $1.99, seller xroscoe. Bow shoes: Stuart Weitzman Gold & Silver High Heel Shoes, size 8B, location US, bidding started at $24.95, seller designerdeals3o5 (feedback 100% positive). Metallic pumps: Amalfi Italian high heel shoes, White Gold, size 7B, location US, bidding started at $13.99, seller tetravikki.

Spring trends: 80s Mania

Spring trends: 80s Mania

Hoods are in style

Hoods

I’d never thought I’d see this, again: separate hoods are the latest trend in headwear. Most fashion collection of fall 2007 had at least one chic hood cap up there, on the runway.

There are at least...

Glamour at London, Berlin and the Grammys

After a short look at this month's red carpet events before the Oscars I can say that glamour has exceeded Hollywood's boundaries.

Paintings and pixels

I love Ditte Isager's style. Her photographs remind me of Johannes Vermeer's paintings, due to the way she uses light and mixes colors, objects and materials.

Nastplas, Aria Desktopography, 2010
