Glamour at London, Berlin and the Grammys

After a short look at this month's red carpet events before the Oscars I can say that glamour has exceeded Hollywood's boundaries.

2008 Bafta Awards were illuminated by shiny dresses in silver, gold and sparkling turquoise. Marion Cotillard who won Best Actress wore the most daring outfit: a silver mini Chanel Haute Couture dress with a built in white cape.

Keira Knightley (Valentino), Marion Cotillard (Chanel), Emily Blunt (Marc Bouwer) and Kate Hudson (Dior).

Along with those sparkling beauties the BAFTA Awards saw some very dramatic black gowns with little adornment, long sweeping-floor trails or deep slits.

2008 Grammy Awards went through a makeover as this year it looked very grown-up and glamorous. Finally music stars decided to give a more fashionable significance to this major event. There were a lot of knockout dresses in bold colors or with dramatic-looking long trails, all big-name designers.

Berlin Film Festival's beauties were Penelope Cruz who wore a gorgeous long black gown with a gray-white ombre tiered trail, Diane Kruger, Jennifer Lopez and the cutest friends ever: Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman.
