With those glittering Chopard jewels she was the look of the night. Train dresses were the main choice as you can see here: Maggie Gyllenhaal (Proenza Schouler), Gwyneth Paltrow (Zac Posen), Reese Witherspoon (Nina Ricci) and new arrival Rinko Kikuchi (Chanel) all showed up at the Oscar Gala dressed in astonishing long-tailed gowns.

Bejeweled décolletage is another trend set by fashionista Jennifer Lopez. She wore a glamorous, goddess like, gown made by young designers from Marchesa.
