The Spanish goodies: "Two Shoes"

What I want from a good pair of shoes is cool classic-updated looks, comfiness and lifelong durability ‘cos I’m in for an investment in the shoe area of my wardrobe. Well Spanish footwear label Deux Souliers seem to have read the minds of shoe investors like myself. Set in 2010 in Barcelona with creative director Nunu Solsona at the helm of the design team Deux Souliers (meaning "two shoes" in French) aims at combining high craftsmanship and innovation in a single design.

Using traditional hand sewing techniques and high quality leathers the Spanish brand reinvents classic shoe designs even vintage ones with playful mix of textures, yummy colors, surprising details like cut-outs and removable parts. Those covetable high heeled platform booties of the latest collection shows that, although a very young label, Deux Souliers knows how to balance international fashion trends with originality.

And let’s not forget about the comfort factor as it is an essential aspect of Deux Souliers shoes: they are equipped with rubber sole or rubber injected leather sole that becomes more flexible and water resistant.
