The Silent Russian model Anna Selezneva poses as 'Eco Warrior' for the fall/winter 2009 edition of i-D magazine. Photographed by Richard Bush and styled by Sarah Richardson this "post-apocalyptic" character imagined sports some very cool utilitarian chic outfits with hints of punk-rock and grunge.
The "salvaged" look is attained with designs from fashion forward brands such as Yohji Yamamoto, Balenciaga, Prada, Vivienne Westwood, Issey Miyake, Givenchy, Y-3 but also uptown Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Roberto Cavalli, Diesel Jeans, British street fashion brands (Topshop) vintage items from Contemporary Wardrobe and Gothic Punk Lolita. My favorite items are the bottle cap armor and helmet, funny and cool at the same time.
