Opposites meet in the Dolce & Gabbana Spring Summer Advertising Campaign for Men and Women

Milan and Sicily, black-white and colours, modernity and tradition: opposites meet in the Dolce & Gabbana Spring Summer 2020 advertising campaign for men and women.

The main source of inspiration for Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana is presented next to the city where it all began. Seen through the monochromatic lens, the history and traditions of Sicily contrast with the brilliance and colours of the images made in Milan. Through the camera of the photographers, the images of the campaign reflect the differences and, at the same time, the common aspects of the two places.

Filmed in black and white by Salvo Alibrio, the Dolce & Gabbana Spring / Summer 2020 campaign set in Palazzolo Acreide, Sicily, recalls the island's atmosphere, symbols and traditions. Enhanced by the depth of his paintings and the saturation of the two tones, Dolce & Gabbana's DNA emerges from the images with all the history and values ​​they recall.

The scenes of everyday life are associated with the traditional moments of coexistence in the city, becoming the suggestive background of the collection.

Milan, the place where dreams came true. Filmed on the streets of the city centre by Branislav Simoncik, the Dolce & Gabbana Spring Summer 2020 advertising campaign features a joyful and festive atmosphere. The capital of Italian fashion is the backdrop for images characterized by an atmosphere of inclusion and complicity: ordinary people interact with models in the famous streets and squares of Milan.
