Martina Rogy at Blickfang Vienna

Blickfang Vienna is the biggest design fair in Austria for fashion, furniture and jewellery and this year lasted from 19 to 21 October. One of the exhibitors was Austrian designer Martina Rogy with her spring/summer 2008 collection. Martina Rogy (born 1981 in Carinthia) is an Esmod fashion school graduate and she former worked in London and Berlin. In 2005 she won the Ringstrassen-Galerien Designer Award.

Her designs and especially the spring 2008 collection speak about a slippery mysterious child-woman. Flowing clothes in a powdery palette (cream white, dusty pink, soft grey and violet) give the impression of playful sensuality, pointed by the use of fringe, draping and bow details.
