Flapper style is one of my favorite moments in fashion so I'm glad that this season designers paid more attention to it. I was particularly inspired by the modern-flapper look Rodarte showed on its spring 2008 collection: I love the floppy hat and the sheer, loose clothes. Gladiator heels and fingerless gloves bring the needed modern vibe.

I tried to recreate this look on a budget and this is the result: ok, maybe it's a little too sweet, but that's just me :) I just adore cameo jewelry and nude shades. You could update it by adding an oversize tote with a small round handle, or another "it" style.
