The three-piece suit

Category

  • All things chic

Masculine tailoring is a big trend this season and it means taking adoption of menswear to new heights. Think about a lean suit with a loose blazer, lean narrower trousers and a fit little vest or about a suit with wide trousers and a slim line jacket.

The three-piece suit

You can add glamour feminine elements like neck jewelry, cuff bracelets, leather gloves or fur trim that frames the face to achieve a polished look. Suitable for office days, you can take this look also as formal wear or as casual wear- if you replace the pants with straight jeans.

The three-piece suit

The vest, if made from the same fabric as the suit, creates a long, lean silhouette. Or you can make a real fashion statement and choose a vest in contrasting material and different textures. A hint: search for animal print vests for a wild touch.

I wrote in my early post that 70s have come back in fashion. What better proof than this picture of Kate Moss working the "Annie Hall" androgynous look, the main character of the same name cult movie back in 1977. Of course, Kate adds a bit of personal...
