His fall 2008 couture collection
is, as he accustomed his trusty clients, a wide range of eveningwear pieces, including a wedding dress that featured a brocade petticoat, lace chest, long sleeves and a lace-festooned silk tulle bridal veil.
Along those stunning evening gowns there were few midi dresses and skirt suits (knee length) and a very delightful powder colored crinoline dress that grazed the ankle, made of tulle embroidered with guipure lace.
Fabric rosettes, flowers, sequins, pearls and bows that adorn bustier corsages speak about opulent exquisiteness; while "ombre" and cloud print give a modern twist. There's more: one of the rising looks for the next season is set to be the lace and sheer layers, which Elie Saab
