Jason Wu for Target spring 2012

A first fashion collaboration for year 2012 is the teaming up of Taiwanese-born designer Jason Wu and American retailer Target. The Jason Wu for Target collection will officially launch on February the 5th and will bring 16 chic, youthful looks in a classic American style with accessories to match.

The fresh colour palette captures the navy trend with black –white-gold (yellow), blue and red contrasts and stripes, floral and liberty prints aside. Manhattan-based designer Jason Wu is the man-to-go for red carpet glamorous gowns, cocktail chiffon outfits or crisp tailored jackets.

The former doll-dresses creator studied at Parsons School of Design in New York and launched his namesake womenswear label in 2006. His refined vision on women’s fashion earned him awards (Fashion Group International's Rising Star award in 2008) and VIP clients among which Michelle Obama.
