Muses and kids stories

Young illustrator Conrad Roset, living in Barcelona, Spain, is successfully following his life-long passion for drawing and teaches others to do the same as a professor of illustration at the School of Design BAU. Conrad found the reward of living in Internet era: his sketches attracted the attention of Zara, the fast-fashion mega brand and an illustration career ensued. Afterwards he launched himself as freelance artist and until now he has various collaborations from ad agencies and publishing companies to music bands and fashion labels.

Conrad Roset’s art is a mixed bag that includes lovely illustrations for children’s books with richly detailed fantastical narratives, minimalist music and film posters, sensual muses inspired by feminine beauty; nevertheless all themes exude a lot of sensitivity and vitality judging by the artistic style: delicate yet sharp lines enliven by splashes of watercolor that spill over the drawing.

Several big brands Conrad collaborated with are Coca Cola, Zara, Custo, Oysho, Mulberry, Skoda, Adidas and French music band Nouvelle Vague. His works are exhibited in galleries and museums, such as the MOMA, Virginia, Spoke Art, San Francisco, London Miles, London, Tipos Infames, Madrid, and Artevistas, Barcelona and have been published in magazines like Elle, H-magazine, Juxtapoz, Lamono and Monocle.

Some of his Muses illustrations can be purchased through Miscelanea gallery online store.
