One of the most beautiful fall/winter 2008/09 ad campaigns is "An Indian Winter" by Hermès. The luxury French fashion house called on National Geographic photographer Eric Valli to evoke an escape through the snowy mountains, featuring always fascinating Mariacarla Boscono and a very interesting male model (didn't found the name, yet).
The pair crosses over the "Himalayans" (in fact the photos were shot in the French Alps) with their luggage loaded on horses and yaks. The ads bring to attention some of the best pieces from Hermès fall collection: shearling and wool coats, the most beautiful silk/cashmere mosaic skirt I've ever seen and of course, the accessories: embroidered riding boots in suede, the Hermès Jypsiere and the Taurillon Clemence bags, as well as the iconic Hermès silk scarves with Asian-inspired prints.
