An amazing otherworldly trip

Olga Feldman, Rainbow
Olga Feldman, Rainbow

Olga Feldman is an incredibly talented Russian graphic designer and illustrator. She has an appetite for dark, erotic, cosmic surrealistic themes, which she transforms in unique digital art pieces "drawn" in Illustrator with different brushes and blends.Olga Feldman, Touch and CatchOlga Feldman, Touch'n'Catch

Just look at the way she uses color, at the impressive amount of hues, the way light drops in the scene, and you'll know what I'm talking about. Olga (Linzza) Feldman also creates commercial Logos and other Corporate Identity works and she lives in Russia, in St. Petersburg. She has an experience in this field of 11 years and I assume she will be in the middle of things far more than that.

Nastplas: when pixels turn to dreams

Nastplas, Aria Desktopography, 2010

Ever since I began studying photography, I fell in love with the art of photo manipulation for the way it pushes the limits of my imagination. But instead of trying to understand the technical process, I prefer “diving” into the story, admiring the beauty...

Style on a budget: Rodarte spring/summer 2008

modern flapper outfit

Flapper style is one of my favorite moments in fashion so I'm glad that this season designers paid more attention to it. I was particularly inspired by the modern-flapper look Rodarte showed on its spring 2008 collection: I love the floppy...

Flapper style

Flapper style

I was wondering when this extraordinary era in fashion history will come to designers attention. This spring the flapper dress is a romantic tribute for the roaring 20’s.

The shiny, silky, low-waist dress is perfect for a jazzy night out. For...

The imaginarium of Maggie Taylor

The Experience, 2009, by Maggie Taylor

Surreal ambiguity, haunting faces, otherworldly hybrid characters, and the mix of familiar with the menace; an unsettling mood and an irreproachable painterly technique describe the fascinating digital art of Maggie Taylor.

The Florida based artist...

Milan Top Three Spring 2008 Collections

A new take on an old classic. The Trench

The Trench

I am crazy about trenches; I only had two although I wish I have a whole trench wardrobe. It’s something about the rich detailing: pockets, buttons, belt, shoulder boards. It’s the ultimate expression of the casual elegance. Anyway, each season I watch...

Melting, paper art installation, Yulia Brodskaya

I am always stunned by what paper artists can make from this everyday material. I mean who would have thought that strips of paper, shaped and glued to a background, could make such riveting portraits? Russian born, UK...
