Fashion Illustration Spanning the Globe

Gallery Nucleus (Alhambra, California) brings tribute to fashion illustration with “Line of Style: Fashion Illustration Spanning the Globe” exhibition (april 3 - april 26, 2010) the first of its kind for the mentioned art venue. “We are pleased to showcase the ever expanding world of fashion illustration that represents the latest trends of our time and captivates the greatest styles that will last forever.”

The 21 featured artists including renowned as well as rising talents in fashion illustration have worked with big fashion houses such as Dior, Jean-Paul Gaultier or Marc Jacobs and have been published in the glossy pages of Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Nylon and many other hip magazines. The exhibited works bring together a variety of mediums from paint, watercolor, ink, textiles and digital media; representing a very personal and soulful documentary of contemporary fashion.
