The ads send out the same unsettling feeling as Dolce&Gabbana's fall/winter 2008/09 campaign adding a surprise factor with the camera operators included in the pictures. They make very interesting characters and increase the mystery instead of loosen up with a behind-the-scenes feeling. The first pictures focus on lounge-wear inspired trend as the stylish D&G ‘pyjamas' fit only in a sumptuous décor.
Dolce & Gabbana doesn't disappoint with its newest ad campaign shot by acclaimed fashion photographer Steven Klein. The label's spring/summer 2009 advertorial images display a "classic" D&G heavy styling and cinematographic composition. A group of young people are gathered in a lavish interior setting (a beautiful rococo décor with couches and lounge chairs draped in luxurious fabrics) and captured on film in intriguing poses.
