Tomáš Medek is playing with our imagination

Tomáš Medek's futuristic sculptures are intriguing, unique, multi-shaped and they look, without exception, as taken from outer space. But what we like most is that Medek manages to create these beautiful pieces of art from heavy-handed materials, like Dupont Corian, metal, wood, stone, iron, aluminum or steel. Dupont Corian, only, is a solid surface material composed of acrylic polymer and alumina trihydrate. Its primary use is in the kitchen countertops and bathroom vanity tops.
